The Introduction of a Sleek Drinking Water Fountain is Finally Here!

Astra Street Furniture has conducted an extensive amount of research and development into water fountains, which has resulted in the new Venice Drinking Water Fountains range. As the need for DDA compliant fixtures are increasingly present in facilities, the Venice drinking water fountains have been designed to comply with DDA and Australian standards which makes them ideal for use in areas that require accessible street furniture. As many aren’t aware, there are actually DDA requirements that water fountains must comply with to make them suitable for all-inclusive areas.

The Venice water fountains are Australian designed, made using 316 Grade Stainless Steel and a heavy duty base with drainage holes, making the unit completely rust proof. The fountains also have been fitted with WaterMark approved fittings and LeadSafe Technology. As they are designed and manufactured in-house, optional extras have been made easily inclusive such as a water bottle filler and dog bowl unit. With these optional extras, the Venice water fountain is perfect for use in facilities such as schools, universities, hospitals, parks, nursing homes, entertainment facilities, public transport stations and more.

The Venice Suite also includes a Venice Bottle Refill Station which helps make filling up your water bottle more convenient! The unit is made with an aluminium post and base plate and is also fitted with WaterMark approved stainless steel fittings. The placement of a bottle refill station in your facility encourages a convenient and easy system to keep hydrated, specially in the Australian summer! The unit is finished with a standard monument powder coat, with custom colours also available to suit your facilities aesthetics.
