About The Client

Bellingen Shire Council, located on the mid-north coast of NSW, is known for its natural beauty, community spirit and commitment to sustainable, inclusive public spaces. Council selected a combination of Astra Street Furniture productsAs part of a recent upgrade to local streetscape infrastructure.

The Requirement

Council required a suite of robust and visually consistent street furniture items that would enhance the usability and presentation of a key public area. The brief included safe and secure bicycle parking, public hydration, waste management and traffic control solutions.

The Challenges

• Durability in Outdoor Conditions: Products had to perform reliably in a humid, high-rainfall climate.
