About New Hope Christian School

New Hope Christian School is a caring, Christian school community that caters for students with a mild to moderate level of Intellectual delay and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder. New Hope Christian School is situated within Pacific Hills Christian School which has a strong history of catering for students with a variety of disabilities since its foundation. Pacific Hills Christian School is committed to providing a compassionate environment in which the New Hope School students are cared for and supported. While New Hope School has its own dedicated space there are many opportunities for the students to make use of the many facilities on site, including sporting, technology and creative art facilities.

The Requirement

To improve New Hope Christian School's outdoor seating areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant space for its students to relax during breaks.

The Challenges

• Safety: Given that some students might have physical challenges, furniture needs to be sturdy, without sharp edges, and must not easily tip over.
• Durability: Furniture should be able to withstand daily wear and tear, potential rough usage, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Flexibility: The furniture should be adaptable to different settings and uses, whether for group activities or solitary relaxation.
• Space Optimization: The furniture should make the best use of available space without overcrowding, ensuring ample room for movement.

After evaluating the challenges and requirements, New Hope Christian School selected the Milan 1800 Bench with Merbau Hardwood Slats.
