Do Wood Grain Aluminum Slats Scratch?

Compared to a silver anodized aluminum slat, these slats are very difficult to scratch. These slats are double powder coated and double cured in the powder coat oven, which increases the toughness of the surface. We have tested this in house and without a concerted effort with a pair of scissors or sharp steel edge we could not easily scratch this slat!

If a scratch does occur, due to the grain on the slat, it does not stand out very much at all. They are also quite easy to repair with either a similar colour marker or nail polish.
