About Boronia Park Public School

Boronia Park Public School first opened its doors in 1928 and was one of the first public schools operating in the Hunters Hill region. The school has a current enrolment of approximately 535 students and 29% of their students are from a non-English speaking background. The school places a great focus on teaching effective and dynamic literacy and numeracy programs that are underpinned by an inclusive and positive approach to student wellbeing. They base their school rules around their four values of friendship, harmony, cooperation and respect.

The school proudly offers opportunities across all Key Learning Areas and provide extensive extra-curricular programs in order to enrich students’ skills in areas of personal interest, particularly in sport and the creative and performing arts.
